Flooring Repair: Handling Scratches, Dulling and Spills
Now that Malkin’s Flooring has installed your carpet, we can help you with minor repairs. Most carpet or flooring issues and defects are generally covered under the manufacturer warranty. Normal wear and tear, moisture-related issues and natural wood characteristics come with the territory and aren’t covered. That’s where we may be able to step in and help.
When you purchase carpet from Malkin’s, you will be protected by our Lifetime Installation Guarantee. That means we make sure your installation is perfect during the lifetime of your product. Call us if you have an installation issue, and we’ll correct the problem as soon as possible. Have a stain that is impossible to fix? Our technicians can cut it out and repair it. And we include a year of spot and spill warranty for the first year of your carpet purchase from Malkin’s.
Ceramic tile is extremely durable and, when properly installed and maintained, can last a lifetime. In fact, while the most popular flooring types may be hardwood and carpet, ceramic tile is another great option. It’s resistant to fire, stains, water and scratches so it’s especially suited to bathrooms and laundry rooms. The hardest part of a repair may be finding replacement tile and grout to match the rest of the floor if you have major damage. If you can’t locate leftover materials, ask us for help. We may be able to contact the manufacturer for more.
